About us

ARYABHATTA Tutorials is  aimed to enhance the capability & capacity of the young students who aspires to crack the COMPETITIVE EXAMS(IIT-JEE,BITS,AIEEE,EAMCET,AIIMS)


We are developing the students for  IIT JEE / EAMCET / Medical and other engineering entrance exams right from class 5th on wards by providing detailed concepts of each topics. This program focuses on strengthening the students conceptual clarity of the fundamentals in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Reasoning.

We also offer Basic Communication Skills,Speed Maths,Aptitude & Reasoning classes as part of the course. Our course and tests are designed in such a way that inculcates the habit of application of concepts thereby paving way for effective learning.

Objectives of the IIT-Foundation course are:

  • To make the students understand and master basic concepts in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • To focus on encouraging students to apply the concepts learnt to real-life situations. The program will encourage school goers to look beyond textbooks for learning. 
  • To help not only to understand better what is taught in regular school classes, but also to develop the acumen which will give them a distinct edge over the rest of their peers. This results in better performance in board or final exams.
  • To groom students by providing inputs on Reasoning skills, Speed Maths, and Communication Skills.  

Course Methodology:

  1. Course methodology is aimed at helping the students to understand the concepts thoroughly.
  2. It helps them in developing a logical approach to Maths, Physics and Chemistry, for an effective learning.
  3. It lays stress on application of concepts. What we mean by this can be demonstrated through the following examples :–

Q) Why is friction important for transport?
(A) Without friction we can't accelerate or brake

Q)  i)when a hanging carpet is beaten with a stick,the dust particles start coming out of it?  ii)when a tree is shaken its fruits and leaves fall down? 
(A) The reason for both of them is same. They are due to the inertia of rest. i.e. the dust, or fruits, tend to be at rest when shaken!!!

Q) Suppose you are travelling in a bus which is travelling at a speed of 20km/hr.Suppose a mosquito is also flying in the this bus.So whether the mosquito has to apply speed of more than or equal to 20km/hr to remain in the bus?
A) The mosquito is flying in air trapped in the bus. In relation to the bus the air is stationary so the mosquito can fly as fast or as slow as it likes.

1. The syllabus has a comprehensive coverage of Maths, Physics and Chemistry encompassing the syllabi of the major boards (State, CBSE and ICSE). All areas will be covered in full, and not the areas of intersection alone. The whole idea is that a State Board student should be able to answer a CBSE question and vice-versa



Class Room Based Inputs:
Each topic is dealt with in two modules

  • Basic and Exercise Module
  • Testing Module


Basic and Exercise Module:
The objective of this module is to develop a thorough understanding of the concepts. Each chapter has been divided into subtopics to develop an in-depth understanding of each subtopic. In order to develop this level of understanding three exercises are provided for each subtopic as given below.

(a) Solved Examples: The faculty member introduces the basic concepts to the students with the help of solved examples.The faculty member ensures that the concepts are delivered in such a manner that all the students in the class are able to follow the subject. The questions provided in the examples are followed by appropriate solutions. With the help of the given solutions, the student can develop a fair idea as to how to present the solution for a question in the examination.

(b) Interactive Exercise: The objective of this exercise is to help the student, test his comfort levels with fundamentals of the sub topic. Also these questions help in quick review of the concepts learned.

(c) Skill-Builder Exercise: This is aimed at reinforcing the concepts learned in the subtopic already discussed. This exercise is designed to help develop Knowledge, Understanding, Application and Analytical skills of a student. The objective of this exercise is to develop clarity in fundamentals and understand the application of concepts.


Testing Module
The objective of this module is to test the students' grasp of concepts that have been taught in the class. The basic difference between the exercise module and the testing module is that the exercises would have no time limit, while test papers will have a time limit.

The testing module will include three types of tests

  • Topic wise tests
  • Cumulative tests
  • Model Papers


TOPIC WISE TESTS:
Topic-wise Tests are conducted after completion of each chapter.
Test would consist of objective-type questions. The test will be followed by a discussion of the paper. The purpose of the discussion is: 

  1. As the questions asked in Test 1 would be on the basics and application of the basics, the faculty member would recapitulate what has been taught in the basics and exercise module and thus REINFORCE the students' grasp over the basics.
  2. If students have gone wrong they will learn where they went wrong and will try to improve their performance. In the discussion we help the students find where the mistakes were made and this helps them avoid the same in future.

CUMULATIVE TESTS 
Cumulative Tests are descriptive in nature. It is further divided into three sections – I, II and III. These tests are conducted once a month. Section I and II tests are modelled on the school/board exams paper pattern. Section III is a combination of school/board exams paper pattern which will require application of concepts too. After completion of two to three chapters one CUMULATIVE TEST will be conducted.


MODEL PAPERS
Model Papers will cover all chapters, will have all the three sections and will be descriptive in nature. These papers will be given at the end of the course around January-February.
